Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation:

1.1 A booking is confirmed once full, cleared payment has been received.

2. Participant Information:
2.1 Please provide dietary requirements of all participants to emwineexperience@gmail.com , at least 48 hours before the event.

3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers for wine club tastings and smaller bespoke events:

3.1 Bookings for wine club tastings and bespoke events (11 people or less) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3.2 Minimum charge for bespoke tastings is £280.
3.3 Bookings for small bespoke tastings (25 people or less) are non-refundable, however if Wine Experience is notifi ed up to 4 hours before the start of the event, it may be possible to change the date of the event. A transfer fee of £25 will be charged due to licensing. Transfer dates can only be arranged from a minimum of 10 working days after the original scheduled event, due to licensing.
3.4 Location and time of a bespoke tasting (25 people or less) can be amended up to 14 working days before the event, pending availability. A transfer fee of £25 will be charged due to licensing and travel fees may be incurred.
3.5 In the event that a wine club tasting or bespoke tasting (25 people or less) is cancelled by Wine Experience, a full refund will be issued to all participants.
3.6 Wine Experience reserves the right to withdraw from an agreement due to unforeseen circumstances, or if the Client fails to make payment on time. In such cases, advance payments will be refunded, but no further liability will be accepted.
4. Large group Bookings:
4.1 For bespoke bookings over 25 people, 75% of the payment is due on booking, with 25% due 14 days prior to the event. Any cancellation by the customer after the time of booking will incur a 75% cancellation fee.
4.2 In the event that a bespoke tasting (over 25 people) is cancelled by Wine Experience and non-refundable wine has been purchased, the ownership of the wine will be transferred to the customer. A refund will be given for all other costs, if Wine Experience is unable to provide an alternative host.
4.3 Wine Experience reserves the right to withdraw from an agreement due to unforeseen circumstances, or if the Client fails to make payment on time. In such cases, advance payments will be refunded, but no further liability will be accepted.
5. Changes to Tasting Details:
5.1 Wine Experience reserves the right to make changes to the tasting details, including date, time, and location.
5.2 Participants will be informed of any changes at the earliest opportunity. If the changes are not acceptable to a participant, they may cancel their booking and receive a full refund.
6. Participant Responsibilities:
6.1 Participants are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their names, contact details and dietary requirements. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make any amendments emwineexperience@gmail.com
6.2 Wine Experience will not be liable for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by participants.
6.3 It is illegal to sell wine to anyone who is under 18 years old. For this reason Wine Experience reserves the right to refuse a booking. Furthermore, Wine Experience will not permit any booking to be transferred from the original participant to another person in order to avoid the age restrictions that it must comply with. By booking, participants are confi rming they are at least 18 years old.
6.4 If Wine Experience are in any doubt about the age of a participant, they will request some form of ID. If the participant is unable to produce appropriate ID, the participant will be asked to leave the tasting and a refund will not be made.
7. Liability:
7.1 Wine Experience will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tasting.
7.2 Should Wine Experience need to cancel an event due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, Wine Experience cannot be held responsible for any associated costs incurred by the customer.7.3 Participants are advised to take care of their personal belongings and ensure their safety during the tasting.
7.4 Wine Experience is not responsible for any element of the event provided by third-parties.
8. Privacy Policy:
8.1 Personal information provided by participants, including names and dietary requirements, will be used solely for the purpose of organising the tasting.
8.2 Wine Experience will not share participants’ personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
